Outrageous....

Tom and I just spent an ENTIRE day traipsing around the city. I must've walked at least 5 miles. We were so giddy on the way home that we were contemplating playing Marco Polo in the train car. Before I'm off to bed, I first must apologize for the sterility of this homepage! And I promise to update with some pictures soon! I leave you with some Laura/Tom lateness stupidity.
 
*Laura doing crossword puzzle*: Tom, what's a "mark on some oranges" ??
Tom: What?!
Laura: A mark on some oranges.
Tom: Uh. A bruise?
Laura: No, see? It has to end in "O".
Tom: Bruise-o ??????
 
and later on the car ride home, approximately 1 am
 
Laura: I could live in Westchester. I really like Westchester.
Tom: Yes, you and your husband?
Laura: Yes. When I pick one, I'll let you know.
Tom: Yeah.
Laura: Knowing me, I'll finally fall in love with a balding fat unmotivated man.
Tom: Yeah. But...you'll be in love so you won't care.
Laura: No...I guess I won't.
*pause*
Laura: But I'll care in ten years when he won't clean up after himself and he won't help me out with the damn kids.

Okay now DON'T FREAK OUT!!!!!!! This is still the dear Spectrum you've come to know and love. I've decided, after much fussing, to change the layout of this website once more! Fear not, it is not gone completely. It is just less ostentatious and cheesy. (Or at least that's the image I hope to be portraying but knowing me, I will find a way to glitz and glam the crap out of it). For you computer savvy people out there who care, I have discarded my website software, coffeecup software, not because it wasn't wonderful but because my "trial" EXPIRED!!!! And I needed 50 bucks to buy the software so I can have it forever. Problem is--I didn't (and don't) have 50 bucks. Therefore, this website has been dead for about a month. After obsessing for awhile and refusing to buy into the livejournal phenomenon, I decided to hop on the bandwagon and join blogger! In this way, I can update more often because I won't need to be at MY computer; I can be anywhere! How exciting is this!? (I know. You're digging it.)
 
There's a lot I want to say! It's been so long! I have 6 full work days left of my awful temp job! I am going back to Buffalo in less than 2 weeks! I need new glasses! I am obsessed with Bikram yoga! All these things are very important however I'm going to cut it short so I can get the format of this thing up and running. Once it is all secure and looking dandy, I will be sure to update so all the world will know the petty details of my life. :) Count on some good Laura love over these next few days! (Especially because my boss is gone and I can cruise the internet as much as I WANT!!!!!) *party dance* Please please let me know how you love/hate the layout and/or content. I won't really care but I will indeed pay attention as you criticize with an understanding nodding of the head. Peace.
